The material is good or bad, affecting the grinding efficiency and mill operation rate. Requirements for hard, wear-resistant material is not easy to rupture. Alloy wear-resistant balls are commonly used abroad. Such as high chromium cast iron is a high chromium content alloy white cast iron, which is characterized by wear resistance, heat resistance, corrosion resistance, and has considerable toughness. Low chromium cast iron contains less chromium, toughness is poorer than high chromium cast iron, but has good wear resistance, used as a small ball, iron section and fine grinding bin liner is suitable.
